Rosalie Hursala Wins Diamond Stud Earrings in Drawing
Rosalie Hursala, a child care worker at Rexcorp Plaza in Uniondale, is the lucky winner of a FREE pair of diamond stud earrings in the Delmonte-Smelson drawing held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Mrs. Hursala, who was sitting at her kitchen table when she got the news, was so excited she began to cry. Her husband, in poor health and just completing treatment for throat cancer, remarked "It's nice to see something good happen for a change." Phil Smelson, seen at left in the photo, presented Mrs. Hursala with the 1 carat earrings, chosen from the Delmonte-Smelson collection of fine jewelry. Happy to help the Hursalas celebrate the Holidays, he said "I couldn't have picked a more deserving winner if I tried."
